For Easter weekend I headed up to Binghamton, NY to stay with my aunt for a few days. I met my cousin at her work in NYC and we rode the bus together to my aunt's! I am so proud of myself for conquering NYC by myself. I found my cousin's office all by myself! I felt like a true New Yorker. And her office is in the New York Times building on the 45th floor. The view was incredible! And everyone was so nice there.
The bus ride there went by pretty quickly. Minus our door being broken and our stupid bus driver. haha. But we got into Binghamton around 7:30 and just went to my aunt's. Saturday we woke up and went to the mall to go shopping for a bit and buy some Easter stuff. At the mall they had real "springtime" animals to pet. So they had bunnies, ducks, chickens, goats, mice (ew), and a kangaroo! So cool! Then we came home and dyed some Easter eggs and then just watched some Netflix movies. Sunday we went to church and ate way too much chocolate. It was a super fun weekend. It was nice to be around family and no kids!
My first time ever making devilled eggs!
This week has been alright. We are finally getting back into a routine after spring break, moving, and kids being sick. I had another one sick this week too. I think I have run out of sympathy for sick kids, it's just one right after another. It was a long week and I am very happy the weekend is almost here!
