Christmas time in New York City is magical. They go all out here. A few weeks ago I went with the nanny family to go see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular! It was AMAZING. Like I can't even put into words how great it was. Those Rockettes sure know how to dance. We went the night before they lit up the Rockefeller tree. So it was there - just no lights on.
I didn't take any pictures but a lot of the stores decorate their windows all along 5th ave. It's so cool. Saks windows tells a story. Some are just lights and snow. It's just really cool to see all the creativity.
Last Saturday I went into the city to go to the temple. There was a blizzard that day so it was freezing and no matter what way you walked it seemed like the wind was blowing right into your face. But it was fun. After the temple I walked down to Rockefeller to see the tree lit up and then headed home because it was just too dang cold to wander the city that day!
I love coming out of the subway and having the temple just right there. It's such a cool thing. It was awesome doing baptisms there. Fun fact: it's a building inside a building so you can't hear anything happening outside in busy NYC. Crazy!
Radio City!
The two girls that came to the temple with me. Love them. We couldn't take a normal picture cause snow kept getting in our eyes. haha. We have like ten and they all look like this - or worse.
