Friday: Work, work, work all day long! Once I was off work the regular crew (Chase, Sarah, Kylie, & Nate) we decided to try a new pizza place up in CT. It was pretty good! They are known for their coal fired wings. and man oh man were they delicious! After we went to Friendly's for some ice cream and had our favorite waiter. She loves us. (serious, she does!) After that I went home while Sarah, Kylie, and Chase went to win tickets for SNL (they won, we can hate them it's fine. Yes they were there on Seth Meyer's last night and Amy Poehler showed up! so jealous! but yet so glad they got to go!)
Saturday: Nate and I decided to go to brunch & get foot massages! We went to this place called SONO (south norwalk) Baking Company. The best way to explain it is that it's like Kneader's but a million times better. Martha Stewart has even filmed her show there! We got stuffed french toast. and it was heavenly! And then we had the best foot massages. so relaxing! After that I came home and got ready to go to a concert with my 14 year old! (that's why I didn't go to SNL, so I can't be that mad cause I got to go to a concert.. and get paid to go..) We went to a Karmin concert - they are recently famous in the last 2 years. They sing that Brokenhearted song if you want to look it up. But they were SO good! It's a husband and wife duo. They went to Berkley together in Boston and met there. They got famous by doing covers of songs and posting them on youtube. She actually raps a lot of her songs which sounds not so great but it's unreal! Go look them up and be amazed! They were probably better in person too!

Sunday: slept in because I had a concert hangover. my feet hurt so bad! but it was worth it! Went to church - which is always so great! then the crew went over to Chase's to watch the Super Bowl. Honestly, I don't think i've ever watched any parts of the Super Bowl. This time I just watched the half time show and the 4th quarter. Don't ask me why I just watched the 4th quarter... the girls just made pizzas and chatted it up. After the game we watched SNL and it was cool to watch it and hear about it from everyone who was there!

Monday: (this was part of the weekend, cause we had a snow day) It snowed NINE inches yesterday. the kids and I just stayed inside all day until about 4 then we went and played in it. It's really pretty snow but I still hate it. It's supposed to snow more tomorrow too... ugh!
Bonnie loves snow so much! if I let her she would stay our there allllll day long!
(He kept saying the snow was getting in his eyes. haha)
It was a great weekend. I am ready for it to be warm tho! this cold and snow is not something I enjoy. oh well - soon enough I will be complaining that it's a million degrees and i can't stand it. haha.
