January and the bitter cold. Or the Polar Vortex.

Hello blog readers (mainly my family but if anyone else reads this, hello.) I hope most of you are surviving the coldness this winter has brought to us. For real though, I think it's extra cold this year! Especially here in the East where we have hit temperatures that haven't been hit since the 80's. Why didn't I nanny somewhere warm? Like San Diego...

Anywho, I'll stop rambling. Not much is going on here. Kids are in a routine of school, soccer, clubs, and skating. Could I be more of a soccer Mom? I basically am a taxi driver these days. I think most of us are just ready for it to warm up so we don't have to be trapped in this house all together. (me! me! ME!) I am ready for January to be over and February to make it's appearance. I don't know why but February feels like it's going to be a good month.

Seriously though, I don't know why I am writing this post because there is NO point to it whatsoever. But I guess it's to let you all know I am alive and surviving. I haven't killed anyone yet or hit any deer at night. (there have been some close calls, of deer, not killing anyone!) Church is good. i got moved around in the Relief Society presidency. I am now the secretary. Which is good because I am an organized person - now I just have to keep 20+ girls organized too. I am grateful I am just in a singles ward.

I have made a list of things I want to do here in New York before I leave so prepare for some awesome posts coming up when those adventures happen. Like seeing Les Mis on broadway, and going to DC, and Philly, and eating at yummy places. And trips to Rhode Island this summer. I just need it to warm up so these adventures can happen!

I hope everyone is surviving. Stay tuned for more from the life of Corinne.

and an uplifting quote to end this jumble of sentences.
