This weekend is one for the books.
Saturday morning Nate, Sarah, Kylie, and I woke up and drove to Brooklyn to try the "cragel". Remember the "Cronut"? The Cragel is a croissant/bagel hybrid thing. In other words - HEAVEN. We tried the cinnamon sugar one, the regular one, and then we also tried a french toast bagel which was SO good!
We also tried a bacon/cheddar bagel too with Buffalo cream cheese. Not my favorite cream cheese but the bagel itself was delicious! After we ate our weight in bagels we wondered through Brooklyn to find cool street art!
Brooklyn is FULL of cool art everywhere. It's crazy how much effort people put into painting a side of a building. But also so cool to see how creative people are. After Brooklyn we drove over the Williamsburg bridge and headed to lunch at Five Napkin Burger. Greatest burger! It's like a high end burger place is the best way to explain it.
My giant knife. I didn't expect it to be so big when I took it out of the napkin but I guess you need a big knife when you have a big burger! After eating (again) we went to the temple! It was so fun to go to the temple and I wish I could go everyday. After the temple the ward went to a chinese place for dinner, yes we ate again!
After that we got some of the most delicious waffles from the waffle cart by the temple. It was a perfect day full of fun, food, and the temple! And the sun was shining all day long. I sure do love Spring time in New York. It may be my favorite.
Until the next adventure!
