Family Weekend

If you haven't noticed I only do fun things on the weekend because during the week I work. All. The. Time. I don't hate my job at all but sometimes I wish that I could do stuff during the week as well as the weekends. Then I would have way more adventures to tell about. Anyways not what this post was supposed to be about.

This past weekend I went up to Binghampton, NY to visit my Aunt and Uncle on my Dad's side of the family. Some of my other family was also visiting from Canada. Friday afternoon my cousin picked me up and we drove across the state of New York. It's about 3 hours away so it wasn't bad. Minus the traffic. Saturday we went to some church history sights, ate lunch, watched Frozen, and then went and saw the Lego Movie. It was fun! Sunday we went to Stake Conference and then had lunch. Then headed back home. It was a quick weekend but tons of fun! It was nice to be around family, especially family I don't see very often. It was also nice not to have to cook or watch children. haha.

And then on Monday night I got the stomach flu. It was awful. So this week I have been banned to my room and told to sleep. Which is what I have done. I am finally feeling better today. I still just want to sleep but at least I can eat! Until the next adventure!
