M.I.A.

Sorry I have been absent for the past few weeks! My computer crashed and it's too complicated to update the blog on my iPad. But the computer is back and working! Thanks to some boys from church and also ordering a new charger. But hey that's a lot cheaper then buying a new laptop!

Two weeks ago none of the kiddos had school because of "winter break". So a full week off! I was not looking forward to it at all but it actually went by really fast and we did some fun things! We went to the Norwalk Aquarium up in Connecticut. It's small and simple but it kept us occupied for an afternoon! The older girls spent most of the week with friends and having sleepovers so I really didn't see much of them. It's nice that they are old enough to really take care of themselves and I am just here so that they don't burn the house down. haha. The 4 year old and I had a few play dates with some friends and went to a movie. It was a good week.

This past weekend I went into the city with some friends from church. We tried this place called the Burger Joint. SO YUMMY! It's in this super nice hotel hidden behind a red curtain (which sounds so sketchy haha) but there is just a neon sign of a hamburger that let's you know you are in the right place! It was delicious. Such good hamburgers and their fries were HEAVENLY! Then we wandered through China Town and SOHO. It was a good day but it is still a little too cold to wanna spend the whole day in the city! I am so ready for it to warm up!

The perfect burger

You can write all over the walls in here! (remember how I said it was in a
super fancy hotel? you would never think so haha)

The Neon Sign

My signature on the wall

This is a pickle store that has barrels of different types of pickles. But it's closed on Saturday's. I don't like pickles but I still think that's pretty cool! We want to go back someday and see all the different kinds!

Doughnut Plant! SO GOOD

I want one of these right next to my house, please!
