A Day in the City

Two weekends ago was my very good friend Kylie's last weekend in NY. So we let her pick what she wanted to do in the city! It was a super chill day and we did so much too. NY really does hold such a special place in my heart.

We started the day with some Macaroons from Laduree. These are legit French macaroons. I had never had them so I was excited to try them, seeing as how I love anything with sugar. haha. They were delicious!! But I needed a gallon of milk after each one. Very rich!

Then we decided to walk around Central Park - because Central Park in the springtime is the best of the best! While we were there we decided to row the boats in the pond they have. It was SO much fun!! Like if you ever come to NY totally do it. It's only $15 dollars! In NY-land that is SO cheap.

I took a million pictures on that boat but they don't do it justice so you can just have this picture of Kylie and me. After that it started raining so we went to find some lunch until it ended. Now the best part of the day was going to the Top of the Rock. Which is the top of the Rockefeller center. It was AWESOME. Way better then the Empire State Building. And we were up there in between storms so it was so cool to watch them come in and then we ran inside and when it ended we went back out. It was unreal.

NYC sure is magical. After that we went to dinner in Chelsea and then headed home. It really was such a great day in the city even with the rain. I am so glad that I became friends with Kylie while we were both out here. She helped me through a lot of things in life and she will always be a special person in my life. It was hard saying goodbye just cause now she won't live 5 minutes away from me but life goes on!

Until the next adventure...
